The North Moravian and Silesian Region lies in the northeast of the Czech Republic. “Region of Contrasts and Opportunities“ is the slogan that best reflects its character. Individual tourist areas, namely the Jeseníky mountains, Opava Region, Ostrava Region, Těšínské Slezsko Region, the Beskydy mountains and Poodří, create a genuine local colour of unique contrasts and experiences. The region is a mixture of a beautiful nature, a number of cultural, architectural, sacral and technical treasures as well as a number of sports resorts and relax centres, all that underlined by the hospitality, sincerity and folklore of the local inhabitants.
